Marriage is a covenant. Maktoubi is built to honour it.

With intention, structure, and the seriousness this decision deserves.

The process

A structured path, from first interest to nikah

Four stages. No unrestricted contact at any point. Every stage approached with the seriousness the decision deserves.

  1. Stage 01

    Serious interest, declared

The process does not begin with browsing. Interest is expressed formally, from both sides, without unrestricted contact at any point.

  2. Stage 02

    Essential questions, in writing

Before any conversation, both sides respond to a structured set of questions - values, practice, expectations, family circumstance. Each receives the other's answers in full.

  3. Stage 03

A meeting with the wali present

If both sides choose to proceed, the first conversation is a guided video meeting with the wali present. The process is family-aware from the beginning.

  4. Stage 04

    Forward, with families

If the meeting goes well, families meet and the process continues the way marriage has always been approached - with care, with seriousness, and with the proper people involved.

Values

Safety here is not a feature. It is the foundation.

Maktoubi does it differently. Three commitments define the process.

I

Verified before contact.

Identity and intent are confirmed before any conversation begins. No pretense, no time wasted.

II

Family present from the start.

The wali is in the first meeting, not the last. Every step keeps families in sight.

III

One introduction at a time.

Not a catalog. No open browsing, no photos circulated. Each introduction is singular and guarded.

PreparationIncluded before nikah

Prepared for marriage.
Not merely registered for it.

Three courses sit inside every membership - guidance from a marriage counselor on foundations and communication, and fiqh from a qualified Sheikh. Marriage deserves study, not only search.

  1. IWith a marriage counselor

    Foundations of Marriage

Rights, responsibilities, and the seriousness of the covenant.

  2. IIWith a marriage counselor

    Communication & Conflict Resolution

How to speak, listen, disagree, and repair - without harm.

  3. IIIWith a qualified Sheikh

Fiqh of Marriage & Family Life

Rulings on nikah, mahr, the rights between spouses, and the fiqh of the home.
